Kids Succeed When Parents Read
Addressing the lack of involvement of parents in the early years of the literacy education of their children. By educating, empowering and motivating parents with low literate on reading, the problem of low reading levels in children can be addressed. Composed by a bilingual workbook and 6 weekly classes centered around providing a no-cost, non- threatening setting for parents where they will be provided input on the importance of reading to their children no matter the language. It is very important to help Latino parents realize that even with low reading skills they will be far more likely to help their children succeed in school and life with early reading.
